Akademiska Hus is one of the country's largest real estate companies. Together with universities and colleges, we want to strengthen Sweden as a knowledge nation by building, developing and managing environments for education, research and innovation. Our houses are located in locations all over the country – from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south. In our buildings, more than 300,000 people study, research and work every day.

"Akademiska Hus shall own, develop and manage properties for universities and colleges with the main focus on education and research activities and conduct activities compatible therewith. The business shall be conducted on a commercial basis and generate a market-based return through a rent setting that takes into account the risk of the business. Akademiska Hus will work for the long-term sustainable development of university and college campuses. The company's focus includes the construction and management of student housing." The clarified assignment was established by the Swedish Parliament in December 2013.
We are mainly organised from three units: the project unit, the property unit and the technology and service unit. It is an organization that makes it possible to quickly and efficiently introduce successful solutions from one part of the country to another and thus be able to meet our customers' needs in a good way, no matter where in the country they are. Our local presence in the form of our property areas is also crucial.
