Real estate energy infrastructure and future needs in new report

The industry collaboration Real Estate Digitalisation Initiative (REDI.city), in which Akademiska Hus participates, is releasing a new report on the role of real estate energy infrastructure for social development and the climate. REDI.city is an initiative to strengthen the real estate industry in digitalization issues, drive development forward and share lessons learned.

Now releasing REDI.city has yet another report "The Evolution of Energy Infrastructure in Buildings". The report highlights the challenges that exist globally, where the quest to reach net zero and the importance of how the management of energy solutions in buildings has increased significantly. Real estate is central to our community building. The solutions that are developed can help reduce the pressure on critical infrastructure (such as our electricity grids) as well as assist in the development of mobility solutions (such as charging infrastructure) and facilitate the sharing of resources. The report also touches on the fact that many of the solutions that have already been developed today generate both business benefits and tenant value.

REDI.city is an initiative that acts to make Swedish real estate ready for the connected city of the future. The aim is to channel the change work to many people and support the development of a common goal.

Behind REDI.city - Real Estate Digitalisation Initiative is:

Akademiska Hus, Fastighetsägarna, AMF Fastigheter, Fabege, Vasakronan, Hufvudstaden, Public Housing Sweden, Castellum, Stronghold, Bostads AB Mimer, Epicenter Stockholm

Previously, REDI has released two reports on IoT and 5G, and now another report is being released. This time about the development of energy infrastructure in buildings.
