New members of Akademiska Hus' Board of Directors

Today, Friday 26 April, Akademiska Hus' Annual General Meeting was held. Johan Kuylenstierna and Kent Waltersson were elected as new members of the Board. The dividend to the owner was set at SEK 2,218 million, which is in line with the owner's target.

At the Annual General Meeting, Lena Erixon was re-elected as Chairman of Akademiska Hus' Board of Directors. Mariette Hilmersson, Mariell Juhlin, Erik Mattsson, Christer Nerlich and Håkan Stenström were re-elected as members.

Two new members

At the meeting, two new members were also elected. Johan Kuylenstierna, born in 1965, is the Director General of Formas. He has previously worked as CEO of the Stockholm Environment Institute, project director at the Stockholm International Water Institute and held several positions within the UN. Johan also has extensive experience from previous board assignments in, for example, the University of Gothenburg, Sveaskog and the World Wide Fund for Nature.

Kent Waltersson, born 1967, is a senior adviser at Linköping University. Previously, he has been University Director and Centre Director at Linköping University and has held a number of leading roles in state and municipal operations. Kent is also a board member of Stockholm University of the Arts and AB Stångåstaden and chairman of the election committee in Linköping municipality.

Resolution on the dividend

At the AGM, the dividend was set at SEK 2,218 m. The dividend is based on the financial targets set by the state for Akademiska Hus. According to the financial target for dividends, the dividend should amount to between 40 and 70 percent of the year's profit after tax after reversal of changes in value and associated deferred tax. This year's dividend amounts to 70 percent of adjusted earnings.
