Elin's journey began in Akademiska Hus' premises when she was studying for a Master of Science in Land Surveying at the Faculty of Engineering in Lund. During her studies, she attended the Akademiska Hus Student Programme and combined it with a master's degree in real estate economics.
After graduating in the spring of 2022, she was employed as an assistant property manager and quickly became acting property manager for LTH – the campus where she herself had been a student.
"It is a great honour to be selected. I have been able to make a fantastic journey where I now manage and develop my old campus," says Elin Strand, property manager at Akademiska Hus.
Elin is responsible for 140,000 sqm of leased space and is also active in Akademiska Hus' network for innovation and research collaboration projects. In addition to her job, she is focusing on the elite level in underwater rugby, where she competes in the national team.
"The support from my employer and manager has made it possible to invest wholeheartedly in the sport," she says.
We at Akademiska Hus are incredibly proud of Elin and happy that she is part of our team.
