Christian Jönsson will take up the position of Director of the Technology & Service unit on 1 March and will also be a member of Akademiska Hus' management team. He is educated in real estate business and has worked at Akademiska Hus for 20 years as property manager, property area manager and was also active for a period as acting director of Technology & Service.

He has a wise leadership that I know will strengthen the Technology & Service unit and benefit from the technical expertise that already exists within the company. I am convinced that he will contribute to both the development of the Technology & Service unit and to Akademiska Hus as a whole," says Caroline Arehult, CEO of Akademiska Hus.

Akademiska Hus manages 3.4 million square metres of lettable area, of which 44 per cent is teaching premises, 32 per cent laboratory premises, 15 per cent offices, 2 per cent residential and 7 per cent other types of premises. The company is owned by the state and around 320,000 people study, research and work in buildings managed by Akademiska Hus.
Christian Jönsson succeeds Andreas Kudenberg, who will leave at the end of the year.
