New Director of Technology & Service to Akademiska Hus

Christian Jönsson has been recruited as the new Director of Technology & Service at Akademiska Hus. He has many years of experience in several different management roles within the company and most recently came from the position of property area manager.

Christian Jönsson will take up the position of Director of the Technology & Service unit on 1 March and will also be a member of Akademiska Hus' management team. He is educated in real estate business and has worked at Akademiska Hus for 20 years as property manager, property area manager and was also active for a period as acting director of Technology & Service. 
 
"Christian has a solid understanding of our business, our customers and our business. He has a wise leadership that I know will strengthen the Technology & Service unit and benefit from the technical expertise that already exists within the company. I am convinced that he will contribute to both the development of the Technology & Service unit and to Akademiska Hus as a whole," says Caroline Arehult, CEO of Akademiska Hus.
 
"It's an exciting and important assignment. Technology & Service plays a key role in customers' everyday lives and is the foundation of the Akademiska Hus that they encounter every day. My focus will be to continue to develop our work by combining our strong technical expertise with a clear customer perspective. I'm really looking forward to getting started," says Christian Jönsson.

Akademiska Hus manages 3.4 million square metres of lettable area, of which 44 per cent is teaching premises, 32 per cent laboratory premises, 15 per cent offices, 2 per cent residential and 7 per cent other types of premises. The company is owned by the state and around 320,000 people study, research and work in buildings managed by Akademiska Hus. 

Christian Jönsson succeeds Andreas Kudenberg, who will leave at the end of the year.
