Akademiska Hus and Västmanlands-Dala nation enter into an agreement on student housing in Uppsala

In September 2022, Akademiska Hus began construction of the new housing, which will provide students and doctoral students with accommodation close to campus in Rosendal with a connection to the Ångström Laboratory and the Biomedical Centre. The homes, which have been named Aquila, consist of 13,000 square meters of new construction divided into a high-rise of twelve storeys and a low-rise of six storeys.

From studios to shared accommodation

Aquila is being built according to Akademiska Hus' student housing concept, which means that the block will contain a variety of different types of apartments - everything from classic studios with their own kitchen to apartments where up to six people share common areas such as bathrooms. kitchen and living room.
