The original building was erected in 1945 and is located in the northern part of Chalmers, opposite the Library.
The building has previously been a road and water laboratory, therefore there are large duct systems for water in the basement spaces. Are empty today. Concrete frame with brick facade. The building was built in 1945. The building was rebuilt/renovated in 2006 including new ventilation.
The entire Chalmers area is included in Gothenburg municipality's conservation program and the oldest part of the building has been assessed as particularly valuable from a cultural and historical point of view.
