Campus Luleå

Utemiljö

General information

Welcome to Campus Luleå and Sweden's northernmost campus.
Luleå University of Technology, LTU, has been located here since 1971. Precisely the unique northern location gives the campus a strong identity of its own with opportunities for a variety of winter activities. More than 17,000 people work and study at the university.

Inside the campus is Sweden's first rail park with the possibility to ski and snowboard in winter on the university campus.

Activities, service and accommodation are something that students demand, which LTU and Akademiska Hus have taken note of. Since 2020, there are 199 apartments with room for 266 students in the middle of Campus Luleå. The campus also has a gym, restaurants and a café.

The campus area is constantly developing as new buildings arise and existing ones are adapted and rebuilt.
