The A building underwent extensive renovation that was completed in 2016. The building now welcomes visitors with large, new entrances facing Regnbågsallén. These entrances are characterized by their generous spaces and elegant screen-printed glass sections that create a bright and inviting atmosphere.
Inside the A-building, there are modern classrooms equipped with the latest technology to support effective and engaging teaching. Students also have access to an inspiring study environment that includes a courtyard, providing the opportunity to pursue studies outdoors in a relaxing environment. The building is home to several important academic activities. Here, the Departments of Business Administration, Technology, Arts and Society (ETKS) and Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering (SRT) conduct their education and research projects. The multifaceted academic environment fosters interdisciplinary collaborations and innovation.
On the entrance floor from Regnbågsallén there is a modern café and restaurant. This facility offers an excellent place for students and staff to relax, eat, and socialize.
In the southern part of the building, with an entrance from Universitetsvägen, is the area's preschool "Kideus". The preschool integrates childcare with the university environment and creates a dynamic and lively atmosphere in the A-building.
