It stands out along Solnavägen with a slope of 33 degrees and an overhang of 23 meters. The building houses an auditorium for 1,000 people, offices, conference spaces, two restaurants and a café, and has hosted Nobel lectures and international conferences.

Om Aula Medica

Completed in October 2013 and named Building of the Year 2014, Aula Medica, with its triangular shape and façade consisting of 6,000 panes of glass, is an impressive property on Campus Solna, which otherwise consists largely of brick buildings. With its location along Solnavägen, facing Karolinska University Hospital, it is clearly visible to everyone who passes by, and the façade's slope of a maximum of 33 degrees and the overhang of 23 meters out over Solnavägen really make it stand out.

Aula Medica contains an auditorium (Erling Perssonsalen, named after H&M founder Erling Persson) with 1000 seats, offices for about 100 people and 100 conference spaces. In addition, there are two restaurants and a café where researchers, businessmen and students mix. It has hosted Nobel lectures, scientific symposia, academic ceremonies and conferences that help bring people together from all over the world.
