To meet the housing needs and increase the attractiveness of the campus, new residences were constructed on KTH Campus with the Draconis project in 2018. The project has been highly successful, with buildings designed to harmonize both architecturally and functionally with the older properties on campus.
These centrally located residences have transformed a previously empty space into a vibrant main thoroughfare and have created a more lively atmosphere in the area. A student-friendly café on one of the ground floors further contributes to this dynamic by providing a natural meeting place for students to relax, study, and socialize.
The design and central location of the buildings have not only addressed the urgent housing needs but have also increased the overall attractiveness of the campus, making it more inviting for both current and potential students. The new main thoroughfare creates a sense of community and belonging, fostering a better study environment and a richer campus life.
