General information

On 23 April 2003, Vetenskapsens Hus was inaugurated by His Majesty the King together with, among others, the governor, principals and representatives from the Ministry of Education. The building was designed by Nyrén's architectural office.

The purpose of Vetenskapens Hus was to create a greater interest in natural science subjects and let young people get an insight into real science. KTH together with Stockholm University and the City of Science were the initiators of this project.
