Campus
Campus Solna, located in the emerging district of Hagastaden, is an area strongly characterised by research and education. In addition to Karolinska Institutet (KI), there are also government agencies, institutes and companies, all with links to education and research in medicine and health. In total, more than 4000 people research, work and study on campus.
Campus Solna has a long tradition of research, featuring historic buildings that we continuously develop and refine. The campus's inner areas consist of classic brick architecture that reflects traditional campus ideas, with open courtyards and park settings. In collaboration with KI, we are committed to preserving the original structures while evolving the campus to meet future needs.
We have complemented the historic buildings with new, advanced laboratories and architecturally significant structures. A prime example is Gert Wingårdh’s impressive Aula Medica, symbolizing the modern and innovative progress of the campus. The area is also gaining a new urban frontage along Solnavägen, with tall buildings and modern facades that create a dynamic and inspiring environment for research and education.

Employees and visitors with cars are directed to fee-charging parking spaces within Campus Solna. Please refer to the campus map for guidance.
The fee can be paid through the app, parking machine, or monthly pass. Prices are excluding any additional fees.
Parking is primarily recommended in the Skruven parking garage at Tomtebodavägen 5B. There are 523 indoor parking spaces and 20 outdoor spaces, charging facilities for electric cars and indoor bicycle parking. The parking garage is open from 06:00 to 22:00, with the option to retrieve your car around the clock.
We are offering a heated garage at Biomedicum with an entrance from Solnavägen 11. It contains 145 indoor parking spaces, including 30 spaces with charging facilities for electric cars. The garage is open 24/7.
When paying via the app or machine at Skruven and Biomedicum, you will receive a code that can be used to re-enter the garage. For any questions regarding this, please contact Aimo Park's customer service at 0771-96 90 00.
As personnel on the premises, a discounted rate is provided. This is obtained by presenting the employee decal.
Vehicles with permits for people with disabilities park free of charge at Campus Solna. Designated spaces are located near entrances or in other visitor parking areas. In case of full spaces, you are allowed to park freely on the campus with a disability permit, as long as you do not obstruct traffic.
Motorcyclists park for free at Academic House campus areas in Stockholm. Please use designated motorcycle parking spaces primarily. For safety reasons and to maintain accessibility, parking is not permitted at entrances.
