Campus Solna
Address: Campus Solna, Nobels väg 12a, 12b, Stockholm
Subway, commuter train and bus connections are within walking distance. Campus Solna can be reached by car and parking is offered in the area and managed by Q-park AB. Bicycle parking and air stations are available in the area.

Staff and visitors are directed to paid parking spaces within Campus Solna. Parking space intended for vehicles with a permit for the disabled is at the main entrance Nobels väg 12a. Please see the campus map for Campus Solna .
Bicycle parking is available in several places around the buildings.
On campus you will find a wide range of services, study places, restaurants and cafés. The campus area offers plenty of outdoor environments, meeting places and sports activities.

At environmental stations on each operating floor, waste is source-sorted into different fractions before further transport to the waste room, building 1, floor 1.
In the waste room at Nobels väg 12d, waste is sorted into the following fractions:
- Paper and newspapers
- Cardboard and corrugated cardboard
- Metal
- Electrical waste
- Hard plastic
- Soft plastic/shrink and stretch film
- Clear glass
- Coloured glass
- Household waste
- Combustible waste
- Batteries
- Light sources
- Tones
Other waste
Waste such as radioactive, chemical and biological waste is handled according to special regulations.
Regarding bulky waste and ordering a container, contact the waste contractor directly.
Public areas
In stairwells, the lighting is controlled automatically via timers and is switched on during regular office hours. At other times, full lighting is obtained via acoustic detectors that register footsteps and door openings.
In public areas such as corridors and break areas, the lighting is time-controlled and switched on during regular office hours. In addition to the set time, the lighting is switched on and off via presence detectors.
Office, lab and conference room
Lighting in offices and conference rooms is switched on and off automatically via presence detectors. In the lab lit, the lighting is controlled manually via a push button inside the door.
Car parking
A parking space intended for vehicles with a permit for the disabled is located adjacent to the entrance. Please see the campus map for Campus Solna.
Entrance and elevators
The main entrance at Nobels väg 12a is accessible and all operating floors can be reached with elevators in building 1. For accessibility at the level difference on floor 1 there is a platform elevator.
Auditoriums
In the auditoriums, there is a hearing loop and space intended for wheelchair users.
RWC
Toilets adapted for the disabled are available on each business floor and are equipped with a local security alarm. Alarms are indicated locally by sound and a red flashing light outside each room. It is important that you who see and hear this alarm contact the person who needs help. Alarms are reset in each room by pressing the reset button.

Evacuation alarm in case of fire
There are smoke detectors in corridors, public and technical areas that automatically trigger an evacuation alarm in the event of fire smoke. Alarms are indicated by bell and/or flashing lights throughout the house. Limit the source of the fire by closing windows and doors.
In the event of a fire, call 112 as the evacuation alarm is not directly forwarded to the Rescue Service.
Fire cells
The building is divided into a number of fire cells to prevent fire and smoke from spreading. Each fire cell is delimited by fire-rated walls and doors. In principle, all floors, stairwells, lifts, operating areas and waste rooms have their own fire cells. Doors in fire cell boundaries can be set in the open position for transport with magnetic suspension and closed manually with a push button marked "fire door closer". When an evacuation alarm is triggered, the doors close automatically within the alarmed area.
Doors in fire cell boundaries must absolutely not be blocked or set up with wedges or the like!
Escape routes/Collection point

The stairwells form independent escape routes. Two stairwells can be reached from each workplace. The escape routes, which are marked with green, luminous escape signs, must never be blocked. The green signs are always lit and have a battery backup to illuminate even in the event of a power cut.
If the fire alarm is triggered, all personnel must close the doors behind them, leave the building and gather at the assembly point at the sculpture "Enkla former" at Akademiska Stråket, the intersection Nogels väg-Nanna Svartz väg. The staff report there to the evacuation manager. No one may depart from the assembly point until this is done.
Generally
For the house, a web-monitored bus system has been installed that monitors the house's heating and ventilation system. In order to obtain good air quality in the premises, the ventilation is adapted to the number of people and the equipment planned for the rooms.
Office and lab
The temperature in the office and lab is controlled automatically via the web-based bus system.
Conference room
In conference rooms, the ventilation is controlled automatically, i.e. that the air circulation is automatically adapted to the person and heat load in addition to a continuous basic flow.
Extended operating time
In meeting rooms, it is possible to force the ventilation via a push button. The air flow then continues for the set time.
Operation time ventilation
The ventilation in the lab in building 1 is need-based. In addition to a continuous basic flow, the air circulation changes at hatch openings during work at ventilated workplaces. The ventilation in other parts of the house is switched off at night. If extended operating time is desired, push buttons placed in corridors can be used. Ventilation then continues for the set time.
