Campus Solna
Address: Campus Solna, Berzelius väg 3, Stockholm
Subway, commuter train and bus connections are within walking distance. Campus Solna can be reached by car and parking is offered in the area and managed by Q-park AB. Bicycle parking and air stations are available in the area.

Staff and visitors are directed to paid parking spaces within Campus Solna. A parking space intended for vehicles with a permit for the disabled can be found at the main entrance, Berzelius väg 3. Please see the campus map for Campus Solna .
Bicycle parking is available, among other things, outside the Winter Garden and at the main entrance.
On campus you will find a wide range of services, study places, restaurants and cafés. The campus area offers plenty of outdoor environments, meeting places and sports activities.

Some source sorting takes place locally on each floor. In the building's waste room, waste is sorted into different fractions. Akademiska Hus is responsible for removal of household waste and the tenant for other waste fractions.
When receiving goods, the tenant is responsible for removing pallets and packaging.
Other waste
Waste such as radioactive, chemical and biological waste is handled according to special regulations.
Generally
Lighting in corridors and stairwells is time-controlled and is activated beyond the set time via so-called step sound detectors. Lighting in toilets is switched on and off via presence detectors.
Office
Generally in offices, the lighting is turned on and off manually via push buttons. Presence detectors turn off the lighting if no one has been in the room for a set time.
Group room
The lighting in some group rooms can be dimmed via spring-loaded push buttons. Switch on and off with a short press of a button and adjust the light with a long press of the button.

Evacuation alarm in case of fire
There are smoke detectors in corridors, public and technical areas that automatically trigger an evacuation alarm in the event of fire smoke. Alarms are indicated by bells or sirens supplemented by flashing lights in corridors. In public areas such as the entrance area, auditoriums and KIB, a spoken message is heard In the event of a fire, call 112 as the evacuation alarm is not directly forwarded to the Rescue Service.
You can manually trigger the alarm yourself using push buttons in escape routes. Limit the source of the fire by closing windows and doors.
Fire cells
The building is divided into a number of fire cells to prevent fire and smoke from spreading. Each fire cell is delimited by fire-rated walls and doors. In principle, all floors, stairwells, lifts, operating areas and waste rooms have their own fire cells. Doors in fire compartment boundaries can be magnetically suspended in the open position for transport and closed manually with a push button marked "fire door closer". When an evacuation alarm is triggered, the doors close automatically within the alarmed area.
Doors in fire cell boundaries must absolutely not be blocked or set up with wedges or the like!
Escape routes/Collection point
At least two escape routes can be reached from each workplace. The escape routes, which are marked with green, luminous escape signs, must never be blocked. The green signs are always lit and have a battery backup to illuminate even in the event of a power cut.
If the fire alarm is triggered, all personnel must leave the building, close all doors behind them and gather at the assembly point, which is the lawn between Jöns Jacob and Berzelius väg. The staff report there to the evacuation receiver. No one may depart from the assembly point until this is done.
Car parking
Parking space intended for vehicles with a permit for the disabled is at the main entrance Berzelius väg 3. Please see Campus map.
Entrances and lifts
All of the building's entrances are accessible and all operating floors can be reached by lift.
Auditoriums
In the auditoriums there are designated places for wheelchairs.
RWC and rest room
A toilet adapted for the disabled is available on each floor. In the rest room and at the RWC there are security alarms with red push buttons for the emergency signal. Alarms are indicated locally by sound and a red flashing light outside each room. It is important that you who see and hear this alarm contact the person concerned who needs help, as the alarm is not forwarded. Alarms are reset locally inside each room by pressing the reset button.
Generally
In order to obtain good air quality in the premises, the ventilation is adapted to the number of people and the equipment planned for the rooms.
Office and conference room
In offices and in conference rooms on floor 6, it is possible to manually regulate the room climate via a switch inside the door. The switch regulates both radiators and the cooled supply air via a room node.
Extended operating time
After regular office hours, i.e. in the evening and on weekends, the ventilation in the building is switched off to save energy. The ventilation on level 5 can be started manually again via a push button in the corridor. Ventilation then continues for the set time.
Auditoriums
The halls' ventilation is only on in the morning between 07:30-08:30 to air out old air and supply the room with fresh new air. In addition, the forcing button needs to be used to meet the ventilation requirement.
