Campus Solna
Staff and visitors with cars are directed to paid parking spaces within the Solna campus. Parking spaces intended for vehicles with a permit for the disabled can be found on Nobels väg, close to the main entrance. Please see the campus map for Campus Solna .
The building has a bicycle room on floor 1. Bicycle racks can be found along Nobels väg.
On campus you will find a wide range of services, study places, restaurants and cafés. The campus area offers plenty of outdoor environments, meeting places and sports activities.

Subway, commuter train and bus connections are within walking distance. Campus Solna can be reached by car and parking is offered in the area and managed by Q-park AB. Bicycle parking and air stations are available in the area.

Some source sorting is available on each floor. The waste room on level 1 has different fractions for sorting waste.
The tenant is responsible for removing bulky waste, pallets and packaging.
Public areas
In stairwells, the lighting is controlled automatically via acoustic detectors that react to sound. In corridors, lighting is automatically controlled via time channel. After a set time, the lighting can be turned on manually via a push button and in certain areas via a presence detector. In the WC and store room, the lighting is switched on and off automatically via presence detectors.
Office
In offices, the lighting is controlled automatically via presence detectors. In some larger rooms, the lighting is turned on and off manually via a push button inside the door.
Conference and meeting rooms
In conference and meeting rooms there is a push button panel that is operated by the tenant. It is used to set different lighting scenarios.

Automatic fire alarm
Evacuation alarms in case of fire are triggered via smoke detectors placed in escape routes, technical spaces and in spaces where many people gather. Triggered alarm, i.e. the signal to evacuate is given via a red flashing light, in the office part a bell also sounds and in public areas a talking evacuation alarm in Swedish and English.
A triggered fire alarm is directly forwarded to SOS Alarm. Fires that cannot be extinguished with fire extinguishers must be called via telephone 112. Limit the source of the fire by closing doors.
Fire cells
The building is divided into a number of fire cells to prevent fire and smoke from spreading. Each fire cell is delimited by fire-rated walls and doors. In principle, all floors, stairwells, lifts, operating areas and waste rooms have their own fire cells. Doors in fire compartment boundaries can be set in the open position for transport with magnetic suspension and closed manually with a push button labeled "fire door closer". When an evacuation alarm is triggered, the doors close automatically within the alarmed area.
Doors in fire cell boundaries must absolutely not be blocked and set up with wedges or the like!
Escape routes/Collection point
At least two escape routes can be reached from each workplace. The escape routes, which are marked with green, luminous escape signs, must never be blocked. The green signs are always lit and have a battery backup to illuminate even in the event of a power cut.
If the fire alarm is triggered, all personnel must leave the building, close all doors behind them and gather at the assembly point outside Gammelgården . The staff reports there to the evacuation recipient. No one may leave the assembly area until this is done.
Car parking
Parking spaces intended for vehicles with a permit for the disabled can be found on Nobels väg, close to the main entrance. Please see Campus map.
Entrances and lifts
The entrances are accessible and all business floors can be reached via lift.
Tactile walkways
Internal tactile walkways for people with impaired vision are available from the entrance Solnavägen towards the restaurant, elevator and stairs to floor 2 and from the entrance from Nobels väg floor 2 to the reception, elevators and stairs to floor 1.
RWC and rest room
Toilets adapted for the disabled are available on each floor. In rest rooms and at the RWC there are security alarms with red push buttons labeled "emergency signal". Alarms are indicated locally by sound and a red flashing light outside each room. It is important that you who see and hear this alarm contact the person concerned who needs help. Alarms are reset inside each room by pressing the reset button.
Temporary evacuation places in case of fire
The building has temporary evacuation areas where wheelchair users can go to get help with evacuation in the event of a fire. These spaces are located in the stairwells from floor 3 and up and in the lock from the auditorium.
On floors 1 and 2, the escape routes lead out into the open.
Escape chairs
Escalator escape chairs are stored next to temporary escape locations.
Generally
In order to obtain good air quality in the premises, the ventilation is adapted to the number of people and the equipment planned for the rooms. To provide heat and prevent frostbite, there are radiators located along facade walls.
Office
The air supply in offices takes place automatically with a continuous flow.
Meeting room
In meeting rooms, the ventilation can be forced manually via a push button on the wall. This function is possible during normal office hours.
Conference room
In the conference room and its foyer, the normal temperature can be influenced via a room regulator inside the door.
Extended operating time
After regular office hours, i.e. in the evening and on weekends, the ventilation in the building is switched off to save energy. The ventilation can be started manually again via a push button in the corridor and copy room. Ventilation then continues for the set time.
Aula Medica meets the requirements for Environmental Building Silver. Miljöbyggnad is a certification system for creating environmentally sustainable buildings. It is based on Swedish building and authority regulations as well as Swedish construction practice. Environmental building is a certificate of important qualities of a building in terms of energy, indoor environment and materials and is used for newly produced and existing buildings regardless of size. In Environmental Construction, a building can achieve the bronze, silver or gold rating. Behind the certification stands the non-profit association Sweden Green Building Council (SGBC).
Being a tenant in a certified building means a responsibility in the use of the premises and the building to create the smallest possible environmental impact. In order for the property to be able to maintain the certification, it is important that you as a tenant know what applies.
