General information
The KTH Campus began to be expanded after an architectural competition in 1912. The main building 43:3 designed by Erik Lallerstedt was completed in 1917.
During the time of Akademiska Hus, the building was completely renovated in three stages from 1993 – 1996. The renovation was carried out very piously with the preservation and restoration of much of the original appearance and the building now contains parts of the School of Computer Science and Communication represented among others by the departments of Computer Science, Numerical Analysis, Human - computer interaction and media technology.
The building received the ROT award in 1996 for the finely executed reconstruction.
