Amerikanska gymnasiet

General information

In 1965, the house was built for research purposes and set up as a phytotron - Sweden's first phytotron - i.e. a building containing different climate chambers intended to study the reaction of plants to different light, temperature and humidity conditions. In 1982, the Department of Psychology moved into the property and then the name was also changed to Gösta Ekman's laboratory for sensory research. Gösta Ekman was a professor who was active in the years 1952-1967.
Today, the American high school disposes of the building.
