General information
In 1906, this house was built as a model house with the aim of being a model for the construction of detached houses in Sweden, and is therefore also called the "Ideal croft". Egnahem is a term for single- or two-family houses detached or built together as row or chain houses that are lived in by their owners. From the beginning, this included a barn, barn and garden. The director of the Agricultural Academy's museum also used to use the house for residential purposes.
Today, the trade unions SACO-S and SULF have their meeting rooms here. SACO-S is a bargaining organization for state-employed academics and SULF is the trade union that only has doctoral students, university teachers and researchers at universities and colleges and research institutes as members.
