General information
The villa was built in the 1880s and designed by the architect Adolf Wilhelm Edelsvärd (1824-1919). The name comes from Principal Gréen at the Royal Academy of Agriculture's horticultural school, who lived here. Today it is known as the "Green Villa" after its color. Right up until the 1960s, there was a large garden in front of the villa. Nowadays, there are only two large eagle's nose birches left on the front of the house and a number of conifers. Principal Gréen was known for having introduced and spread knowledge of how to preserve fruit and vegetables in glass jars.
Today, the villa is used as a club premises for the Natural Science Association.
