General information
Geovetenskapensen hus is designed by Nyrén's architect office in Stockholm with Snorre Lindquist as responsible architect. Plan studies and program sketches are designed by Anders Pyk and Dag Cavallius. For their work on Geovetenskapens hus, the three architects were awarded the Betongelementföreningen's architecture award in 1998.
The building was inaugurated in 1997 and consists of a total of five building bodies and three slats (containing workrooms and laboratory premises), as well as two fan-shaped volumes (with lecture halls, smaller classrooms and lounges).
