This is an insect hotel and it is one of the things we have organized to promote biodiversity here at Frescati. We have placed three hotels in strategic places, such as by the meadows that exist. This insect hotel is mostly made from recycled material from Frescati. In the hotel, the idea is that several different species of insects in different stages should be able to live and live and therefore they contain different interiors, environments in the different floors. Among other things, the different floors contain cones, chips and peat, gravel in different sizes, sand, rice and branches / logs, pots / potsherds.
In these environments, various insects can live, live and overwinter such as. wild bees, bumblebees, butterflies, ladybugs, two-tailed deer and much more. We hope that many people will want to check into the hotels in the future.
