Error report:
Is there something wrong with your house? Report a fault to Akademiska Hus on our website. Please include your room number when reporting a fault. The room number is listed on the doorpost.
In case of emergency problems outside of regular working hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.), you can call the emergency number 070-510 10 02.
Locking:
The teacher training building is equipped with an electronic central locking system. Outside of regular working hours, an access card and code must be used. When exiting through locked doors, press the button with the key symbol.
There are bins for paper in corridors. Other rubbish is left in waste rooms/environmental rooms where bins for source sorting are located. Akademiska Hus is responsible for emptying waste rooms.
The tenant is responsible for removing bulky waste, pallets and larger packaging.
General/Corridors
The lighting is switched on via push button in the morning and automatically switched off in the evening. At night, the lighting can be switched on by push buttons and switched off automatically after a while.
Cafe (light yard)
The lighting is switched on by push button and switches off automatically in the evening. If it is bright outside, however, the lighting cannot be switched on (the pushbutton is lit during the time that the lighting can be switched on).
Office
All office lighting is switched on and off manually via push buttons.
Force
Within the Teacher Training, a 5-wire system has been installed, which reduces electromagnetic fields that can occur with electrical installations.
Interventions must not be done!
If changes are needed in the electrical system, contact Akademiska Hus.
Fire
A fire alarm (signal sounds) is installed in the building and the alarm goes directly to the fire department.
If the fire alarm sounds, evacuate the building according to posted signs and evacuation plans. The building has fire doors that are fitted with magnets. These close automatically in the event of an alarm to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.

• alert the emergency services by calling 112
• extinguish the fire if possible
Fire-rated doors in corridors and on escape routes that are not equipped with magnets connected to the fire alarm must always be kept closed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
Escape routes/ Assembly point
See evacuation plans in corridors.
The stairwells constitute independent escape routes. Two stairwells can be reached from each workplace. The escape routes, which are marked with green illuminated escape signs, must never be blocked. The green signs are always lit and have battery backup to illuminate even in the event of a power outage.
If the fire alarm is triggered, all personnel must leave the building, close all doors behind them and gather at the assembly point (see the respective evacuation plan). The personnel must report there to the evacuation recipient and leave their name and group affiliation or equivalent. No one may depart from the assembly point until this has been done.
Sprinkler
The entire building is served by a water sprinkler system. The sprinkler is started automatically when the heat detector is triggered and can only be turned off by the responsible fire officer.
Flammable equipment
Installation of flammable equipment or placement of gas cylinders with flammable gases may only take place after contacting Akademiska Hus, which in turn is required to notify the fire department.
As a user, you are responsible for ensuring that gas cylinders are labeled and that fire extinguishing equipment required for the operation is procured.
Personal and elevator alarms
The possibility of sending an emergency signal is available in elevators and this alarm goes to the academic building staff. Disabled toilets and rest rooms also have an emergency signal and if the push button is held down for more than 15 seconds, a signal sounds outside the door and an alarm goes to the business. After regular working hours, the alarm goes to the on-call staff or security guard. For elevators, there is also an emergency telephone with voice communication installed.
The house has a so-called water-borne system for heating elements on the outer walls and cooling beams on the roofs. The desired room temperature can be individually set on a sensor placed on the wall.
With the help of the setpoint switch, the room temperature can be adjusted according to the user's wishes. By moving the switch upwards to the plus sign, the room temperature is raised, by moving it downwards to the minus sign, the room temperature is lowered. Preset room temperature is around 20°C. If the room temperature exceeds the set value by more than 2°C, the cooling starts.
Entrances and lifts
The entrances are accessible and all floors can be reached via lift.
Car parking
Parking spaces intended for vehicles with a handicap permit can be found close to the main entrance. Please see Campus map .
RWC
Toilets adapted for the disabled are available on each floor. At the RWC there are security alarms with red push buttons labeled "emergency signal". Alarms are reset inside each room by pressing the reset button.
Generally
Ventilation normally runs during the day and is started/stopped by a time channel.
In fume cupboards and classrooms, ventilation can be forced using timer push buttons. Outside of regular operating hours, the ventilation unit is also started.
The light courtyards are equipped with ventilation hatches that are controlled by the prevailing weather and time of day.
Remember not to open windows outside office hours as this may trigger an alarm!
In classrooms and group rooms there are signs posted indicating the number of people the premises are designed for.
