Umeå
Error report:
Is something wrong in your house? Submit an error report to Akademiska Hus via the app or on our website. Enter any room number when reporting a fault. The room number is indicated on the door post.
In case of urgent errors outside normal working hours (Monday-Friday, 07.30-16.00) you can call the emergency number 070-510 10 02.
Locking:
The building is equipped with an electronic central locking system. During times when the building is locked, an access card with the associated code is required for access.
When exiting through locked doors, press the button with the key symbol next to the door.
In the house's waste room/environmental room, there are separate bins for source sorting. Akademiska Hus is responsible for emptying waste rooms.
The tenant is responsible for removing bulky waste, pallets and larger packaging.
Generally
In corridors, certain fluorescent fixtures form so-called led lighting. The luminaires are switched on and off together with ordinary lighting and in some places via presence detectors.
Lighting in toilets is controlled locally with motion detectors.
Offices and workplaces
Fluorescent luminaires are equipped with high-frequency drivers (HF-drivers) for flicker-free light.
Fire
A fire alarm is installed in the building (signal sounds). In the event of an alarm, this is connected directly to the emergency services.
If the fire alarm goes off, evacuate the house according to posted signs and evacuation plans. Fire doors set up with magnets close automatically in case of an alarm to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
SCARED - WARN - ALARM - EXTINGUISH
• save yourself and others around you, but don't take too many risks yourself
• warn others who may be in danger
• alert the Emergency Services by calling 112
• put out the fire if possible
Fire sectioned doors in corridors and towards escape routes that are not set up with magnets connected to the fire alarm must always be kept closed to prevent possible fire and smoke from spreading.
Escape routes/ Assembly point
See evacuation plans in corridors.
The escape routes, which are marked with green luminous escape signs, must never be blocked. The green signs are always lit and have a battery backup to illuminate even in the event of a power cut.
If the fire alarm is triggered, all personnel must leave the building, close all doors behind them and gather at the assembly point (See the respective evacuation plan). The staff reports there to the evacuation recipient and leaves their name and group affiliation or equivalent. No one may depart from the assembly point until this is done.
Person and elevator alarms
The option to send an emergency signal is available in lifts and disabled toilets. When the push button is held for more than 15 seconds
a signal sounds outside the door and the alarm goes to Akademiska Hus.
Outside regular working hours, alarms are sent to guards or other on-call staff.
Alarms from elevators are reset by operating personnel.
Coverage
Remember to always, if possible, lock rooms that are empty.
Don't keep things prone to theft loose in the front either.

Car parking
Parking spaces intended for vehicles with a handicap permit can be found close to the main entrance. Please see Campus map.
Entrances and lifts
The entrances are accessible and all floors can be reached via lift.
RWC
Toilets adapted for the disabled are available on each floor. At the RWC there are security alarms with red push buttons labeled "emergency signal". Alarms are reset inside each room by pressing the reset button.
Generally
The general ventilation is controlled via a time channel and follows the library's opening hours.
Office
The office part is controlled via a time channel and follows the office's opening hours, normally until 18.00 on weekdays. Closed on weekends.
