Campus Örebro

Musikhögskolan

General information

When the Academy of Music was built in 2004, a magnificent place for creation was formed on campus. The house is used by Sweden's future music teachers and musicians, but visual and drama classes are also held here. In addition to a spectacular concert hall, the building also houses a library, music studios, picture and ceramics rooms and 48 individual practice rooms.

The College of Music is divided into four parts with two intersecting glazed streets that lead up to the forest behind the house, which is present almost wherever you are in the building. The School of Music was Akademiska Hus' first environmentally certified building.
