On November 27, it is time to inaugurate Izabel Lind Färnstrand's exciting and interactive artwork "Stream", which is located outside the Lab at Örebro University.
Stream is a digital sculpture that live-streams the activity on Campus Örebro. The data the sculpture uses comes from the thousands of sensors deployed in the area. The work can be seen as a self-portrait of Örebro University where the sensors, among other things, reproduce the movement or stillness of the places, how people meet. There is a focus on color, intensity, transitions and speed, similar to a heatmap or waves. It is not the number of people that is measured, but the movement, i.e. the energy and atmosphere at different times during the day.
Speaking during the event will be Izabel Lind Färnstrand, artist and representatives from Örebro University, Akademiska Hus and the Norwegian Arts Council.
