General information
Alnarpsgården in Alnarp is a building that we are particularly proud of, the building has received two major awards. The Helgo prize in 1996 which was awarded by the Statens Fastighetsverk and Europa Nostra which was awarded in 1999.
Can buildings from the 1860s, built to house cows, horses, sheep and pigs, granaries and threshing sheds, be rebuilt more than 100 years later and used for a completely different purpose?
Ladugården is living proof that it is possible, more than 10,000 square meters spread over four buildings around a large stone-paved yard has been transformed into a modern university with an eye on the future.
