General information
The building was originally built for the Department of Anatomy and has been adapted and renovated over the years. The big change took place in 1996-1997 when the operation changed to the Department of Cultural Sciences. During the rebuilding, the premises were adapted to the new business, which meant that a number of new walls were erected on all floors, the attic and storage rooms were furnished, the building was sprinklered and the interior was restored. The facade was also restored and painted in accordance with the original. Since 2014, ProCivitas private gymnasium AB has been in the building. The building became a building monument in 1971.
