In the afternoon of Monday, August 22, a fire started on the roof of House L at the Department of Physics at Lund University, Sölvegatan in Lund. The damage from the fire is limited to the house's ventilation unit on the roof as well as smoke and water damage as a result of extinguishing work.
House L is closed until further notice.
There are no reports of personal injuries. There has not been a fire in any public premises in the house. House L primarily contains classrooms and offices. There are no dangerous substances in this part of Fysicum.
