In the meadow outside the Chemistry Center, we let the grass grow freely to create food and space for buzzing insects. In August every year, the grass is mowed by horses. Environmentally friendly and efficient as the horses trample the seeds from flowering plants into the soil so that they come again next year as well.
The job is ordered via Peab by us at Akademiska Hus and is part of our work with biological diversity, which we run together with the Department of Biology at Lund University.
