The hub will be characterized by a large so-called meeting square that will encourage planned and unplanned meetings between the various research disciplines within SciLifeLab. The new building will have a free architectural form in relation to the more strict structure that other BMCs are built according to. Glass walls should open up and provide visibility between the various office spaces. In addition, there must be plenty of space for visiting researchers from universities in Sweden and abroad.
