Campus
Ekonomikum, originally inaugurated as Hum C in 1975, is a central building at Uppsala University. The building, designed by architect Peter Celsing, was built in a design language influenced by structuralism with simple and rational building methods.
Ekonomikum
The building underwent a major renovation between 1997 and 1999 and was reopened as Ekonomikum in November 1999. Situated in a green area, Ekonomikum offers an inviting environment for students to study and socialize. The area is surrounded by student residences, convenience stores, and restaurants, creating an integrated and convenient campus experience. Close to Ekonomikum is also the Biotopia museum, which adds further cultural richness to the area. Ekonomikum is also the broadcasting location for Studentradion.

By bus: Take the bus to Ekonomikum. Updated information and timetables are available at www.ul.se.
By bicycle: There are good communication routes if you choose a bicycle as a means of transport. See Uppsala Municipality's cycling guide .
Bicycle parking and air stations are available in the area.
By car: There is plenty of parking in the area.

Akademiska Hus hires Aimo Park as a parking contractor. Contact Aimo Park, kundservice@aimopark.se , for questions about parking and administration. Aimo Park also manages the rental of parking spaces, however reserved spaces cannot be provided. Subscriptions for monthly, quarterly and half-yearly passes can be purchased via Aimo Park.
Employees and students at Uppsala University
As an employee or student at Uppsala University, you are entitled to a lower parking fee, rate 2. A ticket for rate 2 is obtained by swiping UU's pass card in the card reader on the parking machine.
In order to enable our customers to move freely within the various campus areas without having to pay for a new parking ticket, the rate 2 ticket applies within the entire Akademiska Hus property portfolio in Uppsala.
External visitors
For external visitors to our campus areas, a fare 1 ticket is required, which is only valid in the area where it is purchased.
Payment is made by credit card and the current price is indicated on the payment machine.
As a parker, it is always important to pay attention to the current signage as some parking areas require a special/valid permit.
Handicapped parking
To use disabled parking, a special permit is required and no fee needs to be paid.
