General information
The building, which was initially called the "Wallenberg Laboratory", was built in 1967 according to drawings by Bo Myrenberg's architectural office. The building was intended for medical research.
In 1988, a reconstruction was made according to drawings by the Carlbring Englund architectural office, whereby floor 2 and floor 3 were adapted for nutrition science.
In the autumn of 2007, a new design of the building was started. In the project, the Arkitektgruppen in Gävle collaborated together with the School of Science's architect and interior designer. The school of knowledge supplemented the existing building with an extension for a dining room and adapted the design and layout.
