Campus
Welcome to Ultuna! The area has been the seat of agricultural education since the 1840s. SLU, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, was established in 1977 and moved to Ultuna at the time of its founding. Today, the campus is also home to SVA, the National Veterinary Institute.
In recent years, Ultuna has undergone an extensive expansion and renovation program. The foundation for this development is outlined in the campus plan jointly developed by SLU and Akademiska Hus, which aims to transform the area into a more beautiful, greener, and more attractive campus.
As the new Campus Ultuna takes shape and activities move into their new buildings, new opportunities arise. Green Innovation Park is an initiative to open up Campus Ultuna to non-academic activities, primarily companies within the green sectors. Learn more at greeninnovationpark.se.

On campus there are a total of over 100,000 square meters of environmentally certified buildings according to Miljöbyggnad, a Swedish system where environmental characteristics determine whether the building is rated bronze, silver or gold. Read more at www.sgbc.se.
On campus there is a wide range of services, study places, restaurants and cafés. The campus area offers plenty of creative outdoor environments, meeting places and sports activities. Here there is, for example, an unmanned local life, a Friskis & Svettis and a health centre.

By bus : You can take the city bus to Ultuna. The stops at Ultuna are named in turn Veterinärvägen, Campus Ultuna, Ultuna södra and Arrheniusplan. Regional buses also go to Ultuna. Updated information and timetables at www.ul.se.
By car: Campus Ultuna can be reached by car and parking is available in the area. Here you will find a parking map.
By bicycle: There are good communication routes if you choose a bicycle as a means of transport. Via Dag Hammarsköldsväg there is a cycle path all the way from the center of Uppsala. Along the scenic Fyrisån there is a cycle path west of the river that stretches all the way to Ultuna.
Bicycle parking and air stations are available in the area.
Parking spaces for cars, electric cars and bicycles are available in the area. The parking spaces are marked on the parking map .
