General information

The Ångström Laboratory is a central part of Uppsala University and is considered one of Europes most advanced laboratories for materials research. The campus is an internationally recognized part of the Akademiska Hus property portfolio, and it represents the universitys strong focus on high-quality research and education. Here, prospective civil and higher education engineers and natural scientists have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources that support their academic and professional development.

Building 10 was ready for occupancy in January 2022 and can accommodate just over 1,200 students and 400 employees. In addition to teaching and research premises, there are also offices, reception, student services, meeting spaces, a restaurant, library, atrium, auditorium and a visualization theater. The higher part of the building houses the Department of Information Technology.
