Allhuset Lantis

The Allhuset Lantis building on the Frescati Campus is being modernised to become a sustainable and inspiring meeting place. Renovation work will commence in December 2024, with the first phase—an upgraded restaurant—scheduled for completion in autumn 2025. The project will be finalised in 2027 and will include new workspaces, service units, and social areas. This initiative will transform Allhuset Lantis into a modern hub for students and staff

About the renovation

For decades, Allhuset Lantis has served as a central meeting place at Campus Frescati – a hub where students and staff come together to eat, study and socialise. Now, Akademiska Hus is taking the next step in developing the campus environment through a comprehensive modernisation of Allhuset Lantis. The redevelopment will begin in stages starting in Q1 2025, with the aim of creating a sustainable, modern and inspiring space adapted to the needs of today and tomorrow.

With this initiative, Akademiska Hus continues its efforts to develop Campus Frescati into an attractive and sustainable environment for study and work. By preserving the role of Allhuset Lantis as a social and inclusive meeting place, while upgrading the building to meet contemporary standards, we are ensuring that Campus Frescati remains a vibrant and welcoming setting for current and future generations of students and staff.

About the project

  • Construction start: 2025
  • Activity: Restaurant, offices & study areas
  • Campus: Frescati
  • Completion: 2027

The transformation begins with the restaurant

The first phase of the project focuses on a comprehensive modernisation of the Lantbruket restaurant, which is expected to be completed in autumn 2025. The ambition is to reinforce Allhuset Lantis as a natural hub on campus, offering a pleasant and functional environment for both students and staff. With an updated design and sustainable material choices, the new restaurant will reflect the modern profile of the campus area.

A new all-in-one solution for students and staff

Following the first phase, the redevelopment of Allhuset Lantis will continue in several stages, expected to be completed by 2027. In addition to the upgraded restaurant, the building will feature new office workspaces, service units and social areas. This will broaden the function of Allhuset Lantis, making it an even more central part of campus life – a place where study, work and social interaction come together in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
