Green lease agreement – for a more sustainable future

By signing a green lease, we take an active step together to reduce the environmental impact of your premises. Together, we create a greener and more sustainable future where every effort, small or large, counts.

As a tenant with us, you become a natural part of our joint sustainability work, a matter close to our hearts. By working together, we can achieve even more and reduce your facility's environmental footprint. With the green lease agreement, we set the framework for how we can make a difference together, both for the environment and for future generations. 

How it works

The green lease agreement includes a green appendix, developed by the Property Owners. It contains clear guidelines and tasks that are shared between the property owner and the tenant. Some responsibility lies with us, some with you, and some commitments we make together through an action plan that we regularly follow up. 

Why a Green Deal? 

In addition to the obvious reason – that we jointly reduce environmental impact and contribute to sustainable social development – there are several other advantages. Energy efficiency measures can reduce your heating, cooling and electricity costs. In addition, it strengthens your company's sustainability profile, which in turn can improve your brand and increase the attractiveness of both customers and partners. 

What does a green lease contain? 

The green lease covers a number of important areas that contribute to a sustainable tenancy:

  • Information on how the premises can be used more environmentally conscious 
  • Environmental and sustainability certifications 
  • Use of renewable energy

  • Choice of furnishings and equipment with environmental consideration 
  • Methods for care and operation with a focus on sustainability
