University of Gävle

On campus there is a wide range of services, study places, restaurants and cafes. The campus area offers plenty of creative outdoor environments and meeting places.

A fee must be paid for all public parking spaces at the University of Gävle. There is an option to pay via the "Mobilpark" app, or to pay for a parking ticket in the machines in the area. A special permit is required for a disabled seat and there is no fee. The engine heater spaces are rented out by staff at the University of Gävle and special permission is required to stand there.

Visitors
To park as a visitor, a parking ticket needs to be redeemed in either a machine or the "Mobilpark" app. Currently, the rate is SEK 5/hour. Contact Aimo Park for questions about parking and administration.

Employees and students
To park at the staff/student rate, a valid parking permit is required, which must be clearly visible in the windscreen. Currently, the rate is SEK 5/hour with a maximum rate of SEK 10/day. It is possible to buy a 30-day ticket in the app or in the machines. Contact Aimo Park for questions about parking and administration.

In the area there are over 1000 bicycle parking spaces and plenty of cycle paths.

By train and bus : Gävle is served by Upptåget on the route Uppsala-Tierp-Skutskär-Gävle and the X-train operates on the routes Sundsvall-Gävle and Ljusdal-Gävle. From the train you can take bus no. 15 to the University of Gävle. The bus stops on Kungsbäcksvägen outside the University. The journey takes about 10 minutes.
