Campus
The Frescati property area is located within the National City Park in Stockholm, north of Roslagstull between Brunnsviken and Stora Skuggan. The area has a rich history, from being a royal hunting ground to becoming a center for education and research. Today, Frescati is characterized by educational institutions in the form of an upper secondary school and Stockholm University, as well as a number of companies. The university has more than 40,000 students.
Stockholm University is located in the world's first National City Park, established in 1995. The area has evolved from hunting grounds to a place for education and research, with Stockholm University active here since the 1960s. Situated in the National City Park, the campus offers extensive green spaces and opportunities for recreation, providing a unique combination of a natural environment and academic excellence.
On campus, you'll find the university library and Aula Magna with its amphitheatre-shaped auditorium. At the southern entrance stand the Södra Husen and the Student House. The area is continually developing with new buildings and renovations. In 2019, Acceleratorn, the university's art gallery, was inaugurated. Frescati combines learning, research, and the natural beauty of the National City Park.

There are several different travel options for those who want to get to Campus Frescati. With public transport, the subway's red line towards Mörby, Roslagsbanan or any passing bus line applies. For more information about travel routes and travel times via public transport, see Stockholm's public transport (SL) website .
By car, use Roslagsvägen (E18) and the exit onto Frescativägen.
Parking spaces for cars, electric cars and bicycles are available in the area. The parking spaces are marked on the campus map.
Parking facilities are also available in the parking garage under the Arrhenius laboratory on Svante Arrhenius väg.
We have Aimo Park AB as the parking contractor. Contact Aimo Park AB for questions about parking and administration. Aimo Park AB also manages the rental of parking spaces.

Please note that payment is only made through the MobilPark app, there is no parking machine at Albano. There are 6 charging points. The cost of electricity charging is added.
Akademiska Hus expands the number of charging places at Frescati.
In a first stage, there will be an additional 18 charging spaces at Södra Parkeringen. The work will begin on Monday 16 May 2022 and is expected to be completed on Wednesday 1 June 2022.
To charge an electric car in these parking lots, you must use the Meer payment app. Please note that you can only pay for the charge with this app.
Payment for the parking space is paid separately according to Aimo Park's instructions.
In addition to these 18 places, a further 22 charging places are planned in central Frescati. Payment through the Meer app will also be required for the 14 current charging locations.
All charging points must be in operation on 11 July 2022.
