Stockholm University is located in the world's first National City Park, established in 1995. The area has evolved from hunting grounds to a place for education and research, with Stockholm University active here since the 1960s. Situated in the National City Park, the campus offers extensive green spaces and opportunities for recreation, providing a unique combination of a natural environment and academic excellence.
On campus, you'll find the university library and Aula Magna with its amphitheatre-shaped auditorium. At the southern entrance stand the Södra Husen and the Student House. The area is continually developing with new buildings and renovations. In 2019, Acceleratorn, the university's art gallery, was inaugurated.
