Lift 38 out of order due to repairs
November 11th - status updateHi, We are pleased to announce that the repair has started and that the lift should be in operation within 4 weeks.-----------------------------------------------------------------Hi, We need to renovate the control system of the lift and due to long delivery, the downtime will be extended until further notice.The information we have at this moment is that the lift can be in operation at the earliest at the end of January, beginning of February 2025.Together with our lift maintentance supplier we are trying to find alternative solutions to be able to shorten the downtime.We will update this post as soon as we have new information.

Now we secure Bloms Hus for the future.
We are now fixing previous moisture problems in the basement of Blom's house by re-draining the property and sealing the foundation. The work has started and we plan to have the land back in place before Christmas.During the winter months (December–February), the ground is allowed to stabilize, and the restoration of the ground surface is expected to begin in late March or early April and last for about a month.

New routine of parking spaces NPQ garage.

We create more efficient lighting!
To create more efficient lighting in Arrhenius Houses A and C, we are changing now the lighting in offices and labs. New efficient luminaires will are installed that are better positioned and provide a better distribution of light in the room. The lighting in labs and offices will be controlled by absence which means that the lighting must actively be turned on but it goes out automatically if no one is in the room (exceptions may occur due to operations). We will start carrying out work in the rooms that have broken fixtures or broken lighting control. The project is expected to be completed in autumn 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Activity cabinets inspire joy of movement and outdoor stay on campus
Campus Frescati and Kräftriket are among the first campus areas in the country to test a new type of activity cabinet. Akademiska Hus has invested in two cabinets, located in central Frescati and at Kräftriket in connection with the new outdoor gym. The activity cabinets provide easy access to various activities without the need for own equipment, which we hope inspires movement and that our outdoor environments on campus are used even more. Akademiska Hus is one of Sweden's largest land managers and in that assignment, the outdoor environments around properties are an important part. We work a lot with you, our customers, to develop and create attractive outdoor environments around the country.
