Now we secure Bloms Hus for the future.
We are now fixing previous moisture problems in the basement of Blom's house by re-draining the property and sealing the foundation. The work has started and we plan to have the land back in place before Christmas.During the winter months (December–February), the ground is allowed to stabilize, and the restoration of the ground surface is expected to begin in late March or early April and last for about a month.

Elevator renovation GEO house and Arrhenius AC
Elevator renovation GEO house and Arrhenius ACModernization of elevators will take place this year starting from v45. The work is estimated to take about 4 weeks for each lift. The work means that the lifts will not be able to be used during the construction period. The work will take place locally around the lift and shielding will be set up at the lift. Outdoor gym at Frescati and in Kräftriket
Now spring is here and in the wonderful weather it is perfect to visit our nice outdoor gym at Frescati and Kräftriket. You will find the gym at Frescati on the grass between Frescati Backe and Blom's pavilions The gym at Kräftriket is located by the Kräftan restaurant. Going to the gym is good for the body, most people agree. But what perhaps not as many people think about is that when you exercise outdoors, you get a number of positive side effects: • You get variation in the training by carrying it out outdoors • Your stress levels go down and you get a faster recovery • Daylight intake increases, and light is important for you to feel good • It promotes your health and strengthens your immune system • Your thinking activity and creativity are stimulated

Activity cabinets inspire joy of movement and outdoor stay on campus
Campus Frescati and Kräftriket are among the first campus areas in the country to test a new type of activity cabinet. Akademiska Hus has invested in two cabinets, located in central Frescati and at Kräftriket in connection with the new outdoor gym. The activity cabinets provide easy access to various activities without the need for own equipment, which we hope inspires movement and that our outdoor environments on campus are used even more. Akademiska Hus is one of Sweden's largest land managers and in that assignment, the outdoor environments around properties are an important part. We work a lot with you, our customers, to develop and create attractive outdoor environments around the country. Research shows that green environments can make a place more de-stressing and stimulating and also have a positive effect on recovery and ability to concentrate. Activity locker on campus In the development of the outdoor environments, it is important to create conditions for activity and movement, which is already done through e.g. outdoor gym, walking and cycling paths, boules courts and more. The concept of a sharing platform and activity locker will complement the already existing possibilities and activate the green environments around the campus. How-to? Via an app, you as a user can see where there are activity cabinets and what activities are in them. Some examples of materials are balls for different sports, cub, superjenga, sledding and more. Akademiska Hus has opened three hotels on the Frescati campus
This is an insect hotel and it is one of the things we have organized to promote biodiversity here at Frescati. We have placed three hotels in strategic places, such as by the meadows that exist. This insect hotel is mostly made from recycled material from Frescati. In the hotel, the idea is that several different species of insects in different stages should be able to live and live and therefore they contain different interiors, environments in the different floors. Among other things, the different floors contain cones, chips and peat, gravel in different sizes, sand, rice and branches / logs, pots / potsherds. In these environments, various insects can live, live and overwinter such as. wild bees, bumblebees, butterflies, ladybugs, two-tailed deer and much more. We hope that many people will want to check into the hotels in the future.

Nu är äntligen våren här och snart även de nya cykelpumparna. Vi väntar bara på att leveransen av de tre cykelpumparna ska komma. Cykelpumparna ska placeras framför Greens villa, bredvid Södra huset hus A och vid infarten till Kräftriket.Detta beräknas vara klart i mitten av maj.
