Lund University Library was founded in 1666. However, they moved into the current building in the early 20th century. Today, UB is one of Sweden's largest research libraries.The building is located on Helgonabacken and belongs to the area Centrum.

We at Akademiska Hus would like to wish everyone on campus a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
During the past year, we have had the pleasure of implementing several important projects. Among other things, in Kv Paradis we have renovated the G:a Lungkliniken, and at LTH we have inaugurated an innovative storm water solution in the ponds Pölen and Sjön. This collaborative project aims to climate-proof our properties while creating an attractive and sustainable outdoor environment for the future. Our collaboration project with Biodiversity around Biology, Ecology and Kemicentrum has been seen in the media during the year. The work will start in December 2024 and is expected to last through February 2025.BUILDING INFORMATIONThe contractor Paras Bygg will during week 49, 2024 begin his establishment with a fence around the establishment area. A weather protection in the form of a scaffolding is built during January. Renovation and jointing of stairs is carried out in January/February.
